From
agriculture to technology and life to business, today's youth is gaining new
dimensions in almost all fields and has emerged as a source of inspiration for
the society. In this category, it is very important to take the name of 23 year old Saqlain Mushtaq born
in West Bihar, Champaran.
Mushtaq
has been providing free platform for personality and skill development among
students at national level for almost last one and a half years and has emerged
as an entrepreneur in this field.
Starting with
an Instagram page named Turningpoint_Session
According to
Mushtaq – “With this Instagram page named Turningpoint_Session launch on March 2020, I start implementing the objective of providing a great personality and skill
development platform to the youth.
Yes
it is true that even though I started this page for a fun but my unseen motive behind
that was to brush up and develop the personality related and technical skills
required for placement in big international companies of different sectors. By
providing a free consultancy service platform i aimed to make the students of our country enough capable so that they not only pass such kind of big interviews and
become successful but can help in the
development of the country too.”
"Turningpoint_Session"
is also helpful for students facing financial problems
Mushtaq,
director of Turningpoint_Session Consultancy Service, says – “There are
students who have skills and want to do something in life but are unable to
fulfill their dreams due to financial constraints. This platform is also
helpful in the context of their personality development soft skills, in which
trainings like web development training and graphic designing are also given.
Offline career
session also organized with the help of GLPU and Sef Group
Mushtaq told -
Gravity Lovely Professional University and Sef Group and his team of 12 people in which his friends
from different universities and schools of the country - Suhail Sheikh,
V.Manikant, Manish Yadav, Prateek Goyal, Priyanka and many other friends were
associated. Together, they have also conducted more than 40 offline career guidance
sessions for class 10th, 12th students and more than 200 virtual career counseling
sessions so far.
Career
counseling is very important for 10th and 12th students: Mushtaq
The Social Truth is that all the students of class 10th and 12th are confused about their professional career which is natural. Mushtaq says- "For example, if a student is pursuing engineering or MBBS due to some social and family pressure or confusion in subject selection, but after a period he may feel that he is inclined towards hotel management or any other subject then he regret his decision to do Engineering or MBBS. So our aim is to give students right guidance on right time.
According to
Mushtaq - “During my internship in a big marketing company based in Hyderabad,
I was giving training to MBA students for interviews then I realized that some
of students don't even know the difference between CV and Resume then I
questioned myself how such students will be able to get success in placement
drives.
just keeping
all these things in mind, through the Turningpoint_Session, we start providing basic to essential knowledge
and training to students from 10th to 12th and students doing graduation. We
tell them how to present themselves effectively in the interview. We even
explain to them that what type of cloths should choose for a interview and
about all various essential aspects of personality development.
Necessary
practical training is also being given to the students of small colleges
through turningpoint_session
Mushtaq
explains – When our team contacted students pursuing engineering from regional
small colleges in India, it was found that they lack the practical training
needed for the future.
A third year engineering student from a
college in Lucknow did not know how to do programming, how to code and how to
build a website. By keeping these things in mind, we also started teaching Web
Development, C++ and Java Python for B.Tech. CSE.
Mushtaq
learned his skills by joining All India Youth Parliament
A major
turning point in Mushtaq's life began in 2016, after participating as a youth
parliamentarian in the All India Youth
Parliament and a live session of talks with ministers. During that time he came
to know that he has the ability to
convince people through his speaking talent which showed him a new direction.
Later,
Mushtaq
joined BBMBA from LPU to fulfill his desire to make a career in the field of
Public Contact and Public Speaking globally. Where he found that the classmates
coming from Haryana and especially from Bihar have the same issues of mispronunciation and presenting themselves
during the interview. All these things inspired him to work in this direction.
Mushtaq faced
depression for a long time
Mushtaq, who
is a National Judo Champion of KVS (Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangthan) in 2014, says that due to his father's
transferable job in Indian Army he could not stay in one place. Just thinking
that medical is a good career option and in the state of confusion he took
biology after 10th, but due to
the abundance of studies, along with other activities, his improvement graph in
studies is also down. Meanwhile, he also had to go through social pressure to
make a career only in the medical line. Due to which he became a victim of
depression and became completely inactive for life. He started feeling that in
this situation he would not be able to pass the pre-medical exam. Over time, he
realized that he was not made for the medical line but to work in the field of
public speaking. After which he started giving various development training to
the needy students.
Turningpoint_Session
consultancy services managed to meet its objective
Mushtaq says –
“I am satisfied that Turningpoint_Session consultancy services has been able to
fulfill the main objective of bridging the exposure gap between small and large
institutions.
Mushtaq's team
worked as a career guide even during the Corona period
Through its
consultancy service, Mushtaq's team has trained 4500 students across India
comprising 15 economics
students from Katra University, Jammu and Kashmir. In association with Bihar's
Saransh Educational Foundation, this team has organized several career guidance
webinars for children worried about their future during Covid-19 and
also educated the migrant workers of UP, Bihar during the lockdown through a
big screen with the participation of Gram Panchayats.
Mushtaq wants
to launch Rs 9 accessibility

After
organizing several career oriented guidelines and programs at the national
level, Mushtaq's team also intends to provide offline virtual training through
